I want...black crepe paper.

You'd think it would be easy wouldn't you.

Tried everywhere I can think of...no joy.

I want it to line my hall with to make it into a spooky cave for Halloween. Any ideas where I could try or any (cheap) suggestions about what else I could use?

TIA :)

Black bin bags would be far far cheaper than crepe paper
    I haven't got one!
  • What a great idea and if you leave the bin bags whole and selotape them up carefully you would be able to use them as bin bags later icon12.gif

Black and Orange crepe paper can usually be found at this time of year in Asda or Paperchase.

I "inherited" some black voile, which I will be using .. ... if black bags don't appeal ... could you grab some cheap sheets/nets from the local charity shop and dye those? That way, you can store them (like your Christmas decs) and you'll have something you can use year upon year.

No Asda for miles and miles and miles and...well you get the idea. No paper in Paperchase either.

No charity shops for miles and miles and....well actually I'm lying about that cos I don't want to have to do stuff if you see what I mean. :rotfl:

Looks like it might have to be black bags although I'm not convinced it will be cheaper. Going off to Tesco's website to see how much their cheapest bags are..........

We have a local stationery/artists supply shop who sell lots of different colours of crepe paper, so if you have somewhere like this within easy reach then give them a try.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I suppose you'll sorta understand how much I'm not looking forward to this???? I don't know why I ever thought it was a good idea.

Black bin liners are cheaper than Tesco at Wilkinsons, Instore and lots of other places have you got any near you? Failing that the Value range is good.

No Wilkinsons.....no Instore......no 'lots of other places' :rotfl:. Tesco value it will have to be I think.

We have very small Somerfield, Morrisons in next town and Tesco even further than that.

Grudge having to do a 50 mile round trip for paper or bin bags, lol.
