I invited some friends over for Sunday lunch and Lambrini. They were interested in trying the new fruity flavours as they had only heard of original Lambrini before. The apple and blackcurrant flavour was the clear winner, people enjoyed the fresh, fruity flavour and everyone preferred it to the cherry. Both bottles were finished off though! I gave them coupons to try the other flavours.

I submitted my first Bzzreport so I earned a new achievement and my activity level has a nice smiley face now. I'm enjoying this!

Just done the veet hot wax and I thought it was brilliant :T
If there's anyone that hasn't done it yet I just want to say don't be scared to try it out. I'd read that many horror stories I dreaded trying it
I plugged it in, left it for about 45 minutes and then just went for it. I didn't find it painful at all. I've never waxed my legs before either. I did get a few little red spots but they soon faded. I didn't have any wax that wouldn't come off either, thank god.
So a definite thumbs up from me. Anyone know where I can get cheap wax strips from because I used most of them up in one go.

Did you do anything "special" before trying yours? Painkillers or exfoliate or anything. I am still too scared to try mine!

i got the veet easy wax too. I have a few patches of hair but that's because I struggle to do it myself not because of the product. HONEY72 try amazon I think you can get like 300 for £4 I also think im going to look for bigger strips. Although I did use both sides of the strips. It is a great product although im going to have to seriously debate the under arms and bikini line. don't know if I have the courage or pain threshold for that :)
it might not be much, but its better than a kick in the teeth:rotfl:

I think its better to exfoliate but make sure your leg hair is long enough for the best results HTH

Thanks Hannah, I'll have a look on amazon then. I agree with you about trying it anywhere other than the legs area. I used to use an epilator under my arms but it was so painful I couldn't carry on so I doubt I'll try the veet anywhere else apart from my legs and maybe my hairy arms in the summer lol

How did you manage to use both sides of the strips? Didn't you get wax all over your hands whilst you were rubbing or pressing it down onto your leg?
