Has anyone else had problems when you stop using the yogarts?
I ran out about a week ago and haven't had chance to get anymore, i'd been using them every day for a couple of months but ever since i've stopped i'm suffering terrible cramps bloating etc (exactly the reasons for taking it in the first place but loads worse!)
I reckon its something in it to make sure you carry on using it once you've started.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Anyone else experienced this0 -
i heard before i started them that this happens. your body becomes dependent on the friendly bacteria that u get in them which means u have to keep buying them! tskWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

Activia® and Activia Light help with
slow intestinal transit? in other words they speed it up (diarrhea)
and when you stop... probably has the reverse effect (blocking you up!)
activia's ingredients list includes:
Some contain carmine...
"ground up red beetles being used right now as a food coloring ingredient in yogurt, ice cream, juice drinks and many other grocery products. The ingredient is called "carmine"
modified corn starch.... Corn starch that has been modified so basically it's not natural!
Fructose syrup which is related to obesity. (it is glucose in effect sugar)
Also shed loads of sugar... and probably worse things if you have a list of ingredients i will tell you whats right and possibly wrong!
also prob pretty simular to actimel which you can read about here...

check if your yoghurts contain carmine (also know as E120)
as it is extracted from insects, so E120 cannot be consumed by vegans and vegetarians etc....I'm an MSE SLACKER!!!! Slap my bum.

well i imagine that if they are "fat free" they will have artificial sweeteners in them as that is what they usually do! Also they tend to have higher levels of salt,
The Activia Web site says that the product
"helps to regulate your slow intestinal transit."
Dannon can't come out and say it helps constipation.....why ?
--The FDA classifies constipation as a disease, and any product that claims
to treat a disease must carry an FDA-approved health claim. Activia does not.
And they probably don't want to get one as they would have to give evidences about their "Health claims"I'm an MSE SLACKER!!!! Slap my bum.
