The 7up and Tango are £2 a pack in Asda but £3.99 in Tesco so the £2 off coupons are hardly a bargain. Tesco inflating prices because they're offering coupons - nooo! The Pepsi Max are a lot cheaper in Asda too. I shall feel obliged to tell people that I'm bzzing too that they could just buy them in Asda for £2 if they don't want the faff of a coupon.

Is it a half price special in Asda?

I think using the £2 coupons is great value, they work out at 20p a can :T

Yes, I agree, £2 a pack is a good price and that is the normal Asda price, not a special offer, compared to the normal Tesco price of £3.99. And we're supposed to be happily dishing out the £2 off coupons, redeemable only at Tesco, when you can just the products for £2 a pack at Asda anyway. I think they're taking the mickey with this one.

They do, although I don't know if the packs compare.
  • :jGot accepted for the Knorr, Vitamin and Free From campaigns. :j

:(Struggling to get any of the Lambrini Cider, none at the Tesco in Hexham last week and none in the Tesco in Kingston Park today. Will check in Asda later on this week.
  • Just received my Free From pack. One £3 off when you spend £3. Plus 5 x £1 off £4 spend.

Yes they do, Pricematched with Asda on my receipt on 07/09 (remember you have to buy at least 8 unique items with Tesco and it is capped at £10 voucher (make sure they are things that will be cheaper or the same price at Asda) the Tango and the 7up came back price matched, so free, the pepsi came back as N/A so cost me £2.29.

Remember to check the prices on the two web sites before relying on the price promise in case either Tesco or Adsa have changed the prices since then.
