Don't be fooled by reduced price Benecol drinks.
Two weeks ago I bought 6 x 70g benecol.
Friday i noted they are now 6 x 67.5g though all the packaging is the same size. Lots of empty space in that container now.
I hate when we are cheated like this.0 -
I was surprised to find out the spread isn't vegetarian, which is a bit annoying. I wonder why it needs gelatine in it?So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
Hope sharing saves some pain.0 -
I only do the 2 reports as there's no incentive to do more.
I don't like the sound of the new invite. Think I'll be avoiding this one. I haven't received it, but I'm always careful about what I install on my computer.0 -

Hi
I gave it a miss as well. I've got enough security on my pc.:)Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
Yeah I hate when manufacturers do this Id rather they increase the price its more honest, Im fed up of all of my food shrinking its not as satisfying and it seems very dishonest as they dont tell you, they claim "oh people like it as they buy it" its not like you're given a choice. new product x with 25% less product same retail price. lol. Crisps these days you have to eat 2 packs to get the same satisfaction from what they use to be. One day you'll just get 1 crisp wrapped in a packet.. such a waste.
You'll find that it's often the retailers leading the manufacturers down this path. In this country at least the supermarkets have the power over manufacturers, even the very big ones. The supermarkets will demand a certain level of margin from products irrespective of whether the cost of making the product has gone up or not. At this point something has to give - either the supplier has to accept lower margins which may push them into difficult territory or they have to try to put a price rise through.
Price rises with supermarkets go down like a bucket of sick. They may claim that this is protecting consumers from inflation but they show their true colours when they allow 'stealth' rises like the shrink-ray example of the Benecol drinks above as most consumers won't notice them.
And yes, I do speak from a good level of experience in these things! :mad:0 -

I've written the review and submitted a report, but I can't complete the Facebook or Twitter bits as I don't use them. I don't want to sign up to some random site to write a review for the "submit a link" part of the campaign either. It says I have 46 days remaining. If I just leave it, will it close itself as complete, or will I somehow be penalised for not completing the campaign because I don't use social networking sites?
Hi
I just submitted 2 reports and it says I'm up to date. I've never done the Twitter/Facebook bits.
You'll be fine.:)Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -

I am glad I have read the above as am just going shopping with my voucher and will check receipt - I think it was a bit mean just getting a voucher for 1 free benecol product as it is expensive stuff which I would not normally buy and I don't really think trying 1 product will want me to recommend it to friends! But we will see - maybe I will be converted once I try it?!!Entering a few comps here and there 2020 seems my best year for wins so far:- iphone xs, limited edition whiskey, Masha and the Bear toys, newborn baby stuff, 3 x books, 12 months membership to diet app, bottle of syrup, Baby Shark singing puppet, children’s book, Nasty vegan shake x 2 packs.0

I have the Benecol Buttery Taste Spread (250g) in my hand. It has no gelatin in it and on the side it states that it's 'Suitable for vegetarians'.0 -
