Do i need a utility bill in my name to get a mortgage?

    You have the answer in your first post. DVLA and Bank statement! Job done!

    When you apply the statement can be no older than 3 months. If you want you can use your Passport as ID and DVLA as proof of address.

    Thanks for all your responses,

    The consensus seems to be that I do not need a utility bill as this will not make a huge difference.

    The worst case scenario seems to be two forms of ID for personal verification and 2 for address verification.

    I have my passport and drivers license for personal verification. I have my bank statement (3 different banks), credit card statement (2 different banks - will that make a difference that it is from different banks?), tax coding letter from Inland Revenue, student loan statement for address verification.

    I'm still a bit concerned that my address verification is not strong enough but I guess it will depend on each lender.

    Please let me know your thoughts on the address verification I have posted and if they will be good enough.
