Recieved Payment

Hi all,
Just a quick question.
The company I worked for went into liquidation earlier this month owing me almost five weeks pay. I have today recieved a payment from the OR dealing with the affairs of my ex company which comes from the National Insurance Fund. The amount I recieved was based on the statutory £330/week and came to £1260 nett (a lot light of my company wages).
Should I inform the OR dealing with my BR about this payment, any advice?

Hi Wolfie,
The correct procedure is to inform your O.R of any payments like that.
One thing you need to bear in mind though, is you no longer have access to credit, and if any essential item of household equipment breaks down, or any urgent household repairs need doing, you won't be able to afford it unless you have the cash available.
Being a prudent sort of guy I would ensure that nothing was left to chance, and have a very good explnation if ever the question was asked.;)
