yogurt raisin recipe??

Can anyone help me with a recipe to make yogurt raisins? My two love them, but they cost a fortune from holland & Barrett, so I'd love to make a batch with them as something to do during the summer holidays.
any help would be much appreciated!

    A quick search:

    combine around 3/4 cups yoghurt cream cheese with 1/4 cup butter 6 cups icing sugar and 1tsp vanillia adding 2cups of steamed raisins (place on strainer over boiling water for 5mins) to this mixture, stiring together to coat well and then leave to dry on waxed paper.

    Making the yoghurt cream cheese looks to be something you would need to do in advance. 1pot of low fat yog emptied onto a cheese cloth (i guess you could also use muslin) and left to drain for 12hrs to leave the 'cheese'. I think this will give you more oghurt cream cheese then you need but apparently you can use it like any other cream cheese/mascerpone.
    - maybe you could substitue philli/mascerpone in that case? :confused:

  • Hi,

    My daughter (20 months old) loves these. The best offer I've found is when Julian Graves do their clearance - makes them 15p per "snack pack". (Normally 30p each). Otherwise they do an offer - 10 packs for £2 which I think is reasonable. Certainly better than the cost of the Organix or similar brands.

    H2H someone,

    You need special equipment to make the individual coated ones, but if your planning to make them with ittle ones them making custers o them would be idea anyway.

    Yogurt Raisin Clusters:
    3-ounce regular cream cheese, softened;
    5 cups sifted confectioner's sugar;
    3 tablespoons plain yogurt;
    1 teaspoon vanilla in top of double boiler.
    Place over boiling water and blend until lukewarm and smooth. Add 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and continue stirring until completely melted and smooth.
    Remove from heat. Quickly stir in 2 cups raisins. Remove top of double boiler from over hot water and drop mixture by spoonfuls onto wax paper-lined baking sheets.
    Let stand until set. Store between sheets of wax paper in airtight container

  • I've bought various dried fruit, nuts etc that had a lovely crisp coating, looks like white chocolate but it's yogurt. Anyone know how to make this coating?

    Thanks

    How would you make these, my kids love them but they are expensive and nowhere close by sells them. maybe its obvious, like coat some raisins with yoghurt, but I just can't work out how they are made to taste so delicious.
