Hello!
My first post >_<
I was hoping someone may be able to offer me up some advice, or possibly reassurance.
My boyfriend and I are looking to buy a 25% share on a house with a new build scheme. We have been accepted on the scheme and our financial consultant has been really helpful.
We are now trying to raise the £35,000 mortgage for the share in the house. Our advisor has said that we fir the criteria for a lender but said they can always change their minds...
We've had to go to a lender who will give a mortgage to people even with bad credit as I had a CCJ reg against me in 2004. I have since paid it off.
The thing I am worried about is, I have moved around so much in the past 2 years, due to varying reasons and I am worried in case I have any other bad credit entries.
I have signed up to credit expert.com but apparently they need further information before they can activate my account so I can see my credit report.
Our advisor is basically waiting for us to give her the go ahead to put the mortgage application in, I'm so so scared that it won't be accpeted though and wondered if anyone can offer advice.
Our advisor did say that our mortgage lender will lend to anyone with any sort of credit problems...
Any comments will be appreciated greatly

hi
I take it this is one of the homebuy schemes through housing assosiations? if you have been successful congratulations this is one way of getting onto the property ladder, albeit probably confusing for you.
Historic CCJ's can and can't be a problem. If you have a good credit score Abbey will look at this seriously if the CCJ is <£500. chelsea will isgnore CCJ's <£3000 if satisfied on their prime range. Check with Chelsea if they do the scheme you are being subsidised by first. Good luck.I am a Mortgage Adviser
