Tesco Temporary Club Card

I have been reading this forum avidly and picking up some pointers along the way! On Saturday I did a small shop, 'conveniently' forgot my permanent club card and used a temporary one instead. I got a voucher for 150 points. Now if I shop again at Tescos I wanted my cake and eat it. I wanted to get the 150 points from my last shop added to my permanent club card plus use a brand new temp card for my new shop at the same time. Anyway around this without drawing attention to myself?

yes - don't do it - the reason people "get away" with this is only because people don't get too greedy -
by all means use your voucher on your next shop to get the extra 150 points but don't use a temp card until AT LEAST the next shop after that one (i.e you can't get both at the same time)
Please don't take the mickey out of these offers otherwise they just get withdrawn completely
Just use a temp card every so often so as NOT to draw attention to yourself and don't hand over more than one 150 extra point coupon at a time
Hope this helps and keep reading this forum - you'll save loads0 -
how about "oh, whilst im here, can I pick up a leaflet for my mother?" if you have a large enough store, maybe go to different cashiers each time, or maybe on your way out, ask at the tabacco counter for a leaflet
or, if ur lucky like i am, get some friends who work in tescos :-) I have about 5 so bonus for me.
llol_slimembarrassed to say I used to work for barclays..sorry0 -
sorry - if you just want a few more temp cards - most stores have them in piles on the waall somewhere - I pick up a handful so as to always have one spare in my wallet or glovebox so I don't forget0

I didn't want to upset the rest of you shoppers, as you're the reason I found out about earning points the easy way! This is something I wondered as I thought if everyone started getting too greedy the promotion would end, and its not something I want to happen. I remember in Asda's years ago they used to accept coupons for things you haven't bought and it got deducted from the shop.
One time I went in with only a few coupons and the lady at the till said they'd stop taking coupons if you haven't purchased the item because one lady came in with a stack load of internet coupons. I certainly wouldn't want to spoil it for everyone else so I'll go easy on the points!
It's just a shame I don't know anyone who works at Tescos!0
