I must go and immediately get them out of the cupboard until Ive ascertained their worth!
We might be millionaires and not know it!
(The thought that the In Laws might actually be right about them being worth something after all my scoffing is a bit hard to swallow, but I might be magnanimous in defeat if we are sitting on a fortune)

My local one does, yes, and I should imagine most market traders still use paper bags too. I sometimes get some of the smaller fruit/veggies in paper bags in my organic box too as it's recyclable/compostable, therefore "green"

The store where I work gets asked quite a bit for paper bags - if someone is running a sweet stall at a fair etc. we always donate some to the cause. If anyone wanted a large quantity it wouldn't be a problem for us to get them, especially for regular customers

Queenie that's great advice! The lettuce leaf keeps the sandwich fresh and provides a healthy bit of salad, the sarviette will dry in no time and do its job after sandwich is eaten!!! That's a great example of efficiency, space saving and OS!!
