- When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will: - Check online banking
- update spreadsheets
- do clicks

- Make a loaf in breadmaker
- start a batch of yoghurt

- Look for recipe to use up some free courgettes I have been given

Morning All,
The sun is out again and;
Today I have/will:- Checked online banking

- Stores Lunch
- Still didn't do my batch cooking yesterday - I WILL DO IT TODAY!
- Continue with the Potty Training, I put on training pants yesterday to walk down town, and he actually asked to pee, :T the past few days when we've went out and I've put on training pants its been a relief for him, I think I've cracked it, yipee. It'll save a fortune. So that's a week in, and I am confident now about going back to work next week and leaving him with his grandparents.:j
- Make a loaf in Breadmaker
- Do some baking with the boys, although the sun is out again and their new water guns may win.

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying the sunshine !

So far have:- Checked P/Back and done a few surveys
- Put on washing @ 30 degrees and hung load out that I put on last night before bed
- Hoovered downstairs and polished
- Helped DS (8) tidy his room (find doing it together is better than leaving him to do it - he tends to shove everything under his bed or anywhere else where it's out of sight - think his dad has taught him well  !
- Put jacket spuds in oven ready for lunch
- Sorted out paperwork from last week (filed/shredded)
- Watered tomato plants
- Pick some salad, radishes etc for lunch
- Clean bathroom
- Pop to bank to pay some bills
- Try and make some cakes and a quiche for our picnic tomorrow
- Water garden
- Do another load of washing
- Pop to Mr T's (need to use up some SB vouchers and get a few bits to keep us going over the weekend. Trying to shop little and often atm due to hols next weekend - don't want to buy too much and end up throwing it away).
