tax credits help

Hello

I will be filling for BR next tuesday.

I have been chasing my joint tax credits claim since my partner moved back in. I called them yesterday and they told me we wasnt entitled to anything as i was overpaid on my single claim. I was previously told that my single claim was counted as completely seperate but they have stoped any money now until the next tax year. I was financially better being off being single its all crazy!

My question is the overpayment will be included in my BR, will the tax credits people still not send any payments until next year? Its not much a month but the smallest amount makes a huge difference to us.
