Hi everyone,
We want to buy a freeview box for my mother-in-law. She's 89 and recently widowed. It needs to be really simple to use - which is more important to us than whether it costs £30 or £50.
Any Suggestions?

I have the Sagem ITD62 in the bedroom and find it a great little box, so much so I got my 75 year old mum one and she is fine with it. The set up is virtually plug and play and once you are on a channel, press OK and the channel list comes up then the up down buttons to the channel you want then ok to change.
Look at the pdf user manual to see what you think.

When I bought hers, the best price was Comet at £39.99
ps Im assuming you've checked she can get freeview here (mind you it's not that accurate, it says me and mum can't get it!) and she has a decent aerial.“Wine improves with age. The older I get, the more I like it. - Anon”0 -
Great, thanks, yes we have checked and her area is very good for reception. But if there is a problem the family will club together and get her a new ariel.
To be honest our only concern is that she can use the box, but as the tv is her main form of entertainment it worth the effort.0
