Ditto I bought this years ago as well when I was just a paltry £600 in debt with catalogues, trying to give everyone a great Xmas and still paying for it all in July. I seemed to manage it all then. Oh how I wish I had taken his advice then and changed the word loans into DEBTS!!!!!!!!!Your Money or You Life- Alvin Hall
I got this book about 5 years ago (shame I've not really acted on it 'til now!) - he was a bit like Martin Lewis but American and on the BBC! Anyway, his tips are pretty similar. You can get the book from 1p (!) on Amazon
