Faulty iPod from Amazon

I purchased an iPod from amazon, and it's now stopped working c 2 days after the expiry of their 30-days return. I'm sure it is covered by the 1-year guarantee but I guess that might be apple.
The amazon system does not allow you through once it's established to be > 30 days, so my question -
How do you actually get through to Amazon and/or should I be contacting them or Apple ?
Appeciate any help

Book an appointment at your local apple store at the Genius bar. It is free and you can book online at www.apple.com/uk/retail

They will look at it during your appointment and fix / replace as required :)

We purchased a sat nav from Amazon which (after 30 days) became faulty. Amazon were great and refunded the item when we had returned it.

We initially used the 'contact us' option and explained what had happened.

    Good luck

just go to your account and go to customer service and the bit where it lists the item from your order, and lets you fill out the box with your query.

I had a faulty canon camera about 3 months old, sent a message and they replied saying I needed to contact canon but I replied saying that I had already spoken to canon and they had told me that under the sales of goods act, my contract is with the retailer and to go back to amazon.

They replied straight away saying to send it back speacial delivery and they would send a replacement which they did. They also told me to email them the cost of posting and they would refund to my card this amount which was about £9. They were brilliant infact.
