Will the driver accept my non-Tesco coupons?

Hi. I would like to order off Tesco online this week but I have vouchers from companies I would like to use, i.e. money off certain products. Will the driver accept them or is it just not possible?

Thanks for your reply. Are you certain on this? I only ask because I did some searching before I realised myself to have a reply here and others online seem to say that they do accept coupons, e.g. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=906957&page=6 , post 106. I'm not sure. I'm probably mistaken somewhere.

try it. Unless you wouldn't buy it without the discounts. Or just call them and ask?

Highly unlikely though. Your order will already have been paid for before you accept it, so it would then need the driver to take the vouchers back, and re-price your order?

50p says they don't do it.

As far I as understand they will accept other supermarket total spend coupons for grocery deliveries (and it is well hidden somewhere on the t&c's on their website)

So you could give the driver a coupon from Sainsbury's saying £3 off a £30 spend, if you had spent £30 with Tesco. But they won't accept other coupons, so those for £1 off weetabix or whatever are no use.

However, I have never found a driver who actually knows this policy, so have given up :o
