I did mine by putting the vinegar in a spray bottle (half vinegar half water) and sprayed that onto the tiles and wiped off. I cleaned the grout using bicarb and water made into a pasta and smeared into the grout and wiped off. My tiles came up great.

I'm not sure mixing vinegar and bicarb will clean anything -doesn't it just fizz ?

    I'd do what Unixgirl suggests.

I just mix bicarb into a paste with water for cleaning tiles, with an old toothbrush for doing the grout.

Stardrops, white vinegar and water mixed in equal parts in a trigger spray bottle is also good for lots of different surfaces.

Bicarb and vinegar mixed will definitely fizz but is great for unblocking sink plugholes!

You're right ;) Bicarb and vinegar will react together to form sodium acetate, not often known as a cleaning agent
