"The Works" is a chain that sells cheap books, art supplies, videos, DVDs etc. There is one in Wellington Square in Stockton on Tees. There are lots of stores like this, for example in Clackton outlet village in Essex it is called Banana, there is also one in Dalton Park outlet village called Book Depot. I worked in one called County Books in MetroCentre, Gateshead. I think that changed its name to Book World. They are worth seeking out for road atlases, cheap books for kids and the occasional extra special offer, like X File box sets!

Saw these months ago at £9.99 and was tempted but at BOGOF are a good buy.
Just got to get a DVD Recorder now to do the transfer ;D

I think the works and bookworld are the same company. They share the same stock and near me a few the works stores have been re-branded as bookworld. Heres store directory for bookworld in the UK, its the same offer with them as the work, bogof 9.99 each

I've got Seasons 1-6 on VHS. All in top condition, some tapes are still sealed.

Was going to chuck them out at some point but if anyone wants them for free you're welcome to pick up from the South London area. PM me if interested

why on earth would you chuck them out....eBay - another moneysavers friend. Or the yellow adtrader paper which is free.

These are £4.99 in woolies stores! it will be hit and miss as to which stores, but they r in the 'bargain bin' dvds and vids from £1.99 section if thewy have em.

Yeah I've sold most of my old crap on eBay already, I've just got a few bits left including these videos. TBH I can't be bothered with the hassle of posting these as they are quite heavy and bulky.
