What can I use tapioca for?

I went to Asda last night and saw that a 375g box of Tapioca was only 8p so I decided to buy one. The only trouble is I don't really know what to make with it. Any ideas?

We had it as a milk pudding at school ;)

Take a look here - sago and tapioca.

Delicious milk pudding with a dab of jam in the middle a~la school dinners but less stodgy.
When I have my dinner I either have a starters of soup followed by main course, or a main course followed by a pudding It helps to streeeetch the meal a bit more, as two courses always seems to fill me up.

I remember tapioca too, I think I could only eat it now if it wasnt just a milk pudding, ie make it unrecognisable lol

I've been doing the rounds looking for that tapioca - Sainsburys and Tesco are too small to have much of a range (no tapioca), Iceland and Somerfield should have it - but nope. That was that idea then....darn it....was fancying my tapioca. Havent had it for some time ....the tapioca folks before you all start giggling LOL (mind you.................)
  • Hi,

Just done my online Asda shop and noticed they're selling Whitworth Tapioca (375g) for just 6p a pack!

OH loves tapioca, semolina, etc. - real 'nursery' food :D

Haven't a clue :D as I've only ever bought it in tins in the past. But I'm hoping that you just cook it the same as rice pudding.

Better do a search for some recipes.........this could be interesting:rotfl:
