    For a big purchase absolutely. Car purchasing would be the big thing it would be great for, and if he could combine the haggling with some mechanical know-how even better...

    I would think the difficulty here would be where you would advertise and the cost of advertising.

    This would be the good thing if you specialised in cars - you could put your advert in the car classified ads...

    Isn't haggling in cars usually done face to face though,and can take a bit of time?

    I have seen it done before in cars, company I used to work for used an "introducer" who got a good deal on the car and the car company paid him for bringing the customer rather than us paying him.........
