I got the same email stating that they have run out but my name has been entered into a draw for a real yorkshire meal at a yorkshire restaurant.

Great considering I'm so far away and about to move to the north of scotland lol

Just to clarify - we changed the website as soon as we knew that we were over subscribed, but because the direct page was linked here, rather than our homepage - you weren't seeing the message.

When we worked out where people were getting to us from, I posted on here to say they were all gone and I asked our web guys to change the detail on the page as soon as I knew, but as I'm sure you can appreciate these things can take time.

We've not tried to get details from anyone under false pretences here, as has been inferred above - I'm slightly miffed at that suggestion in fact, as I've gone to the trouble of going in to work in an evening, during my holiday (when I should be at home looking after my kids!) to send out an Email individually to all those who won't be getting an air fresher and apologise.

We have as a goodwill gesture to anyone who missed out on getting their air freshener arranged a prize draw - which I'm sorry it's in West Yorkshire, but so are we as a local radio station and that's kind of what this promotion's about - celebrating Yorkshire!

The website does clearly state now that there are NO MORE air fresheners left, but the prize draw for the meal is still open to anyone who'd like to take it up - you will have to get yourself to West Yorkshire to enjoy it should you win though!

Whilst it's given me a BIG headache sorting all of this out today (have I mentioned that I'm supposedly on holiday at the moment!), it does prove what an excellent website this is for anyone looking for bargains, freebies, information etc etc - we were literally deluged within a few minutes of the intital post coming in. (as that reads awfully like a testimonial - feel free to use it as such site bods)

Any way, all this is doing wonders for our web traffic stats! And promoting the fact that it's Yorkshire Day on August the 1st - which is a wonderful thing.

And if anyone is hacked-off about anything and thinks we're a nefarious personal data stealing conglomorate masquerading as a local radio station, please feel free to Email me and I'll personally ensure your details are removed from our database.
