He's off on Dartmoor doing some sort of exercise-not sure what they hope to acheive, but thats the army for you... :rotfl: He was home for 7 weeks in the summer so I can't complain. We've decided to bring the wedding forward, so its going to be at the end of the year now-so much to organise I don't know where to start!:heartpuls

ooo the dress I think! Seriously though there's THE DRESS, the date, the venue, rings, ok some sort of outfit for him (unless he's wearing uniform) and the band - job's a good un! oh and I think invites and guests need to be there somewhere too and Bob could be cake advisor. All very exciting! and after all that you'll probably need a wee honeymoon to relax...
All done in a very MSE way of course...;)Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Got the dress, shoes, rings and I've just finished making invites... I think date and venue are the big ones now lol. Need him home for both of those though and thats our main problem-being in the same place at the same time!:heartpuls

Started on DS's room today and it's still horrible, looks ok at first glance but scratch the surface and there are units full of broken toys, sweetie wrappers and miscellaneous pi$h! still a bit at a time and I'll get there...:oMortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I don't know about you skinty but whenever i start something like tidying the kids room..it always looks worse before it gets better. I love that Pi$h saying..
And well done on the NSD as well. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Funny you should say that - I did a couple of drawers in a unit and there was a pile for recycling, one for binning and one that might be part of something else!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I always do that, and then end up saving it in case it is useful..terrible for that i am.
Will join you in a challenge for next year...although with MR.B's stuff i think the amount is higher, but we have done it so far by living off one wage and extra going off the debt..if i have more work then more paid off..that's the theory anyway.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

There are some biggish toys in the cupboard that currently have bits missing and I was thinking that all the bits are probably in that room somewhere... I think I'll be putting one of the drawers to use only for those bits - DS would of course be able to look at it and say right away which toy he's not looked at for five years it's part of...but I'm doing the tidy up when he's not around so I can chuck stuff out too!
Well I am currently looking at end of August but would like to make it earlier if possible - need to keep on track. If I cut the recently introduced entertainment budget a bit and make sure all expenses go towards the debt I reckon I could shave a month or two off...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well no rhyming or rapping but lovely sunset on way home, a £30 rebate from energy company and lots of hugs from DS... life is good.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Sounds a good enough reason to me. I still get hugs from mine even if they are big teenagers now......
