Where can I find some nice alcoholic gift sets?

You know the ones that are in abundance when its near Christmas time, with a bottle of something alcoholic and also a couple of nice glasses and some chocolates etc in.

I got a lovely one from a friend a couple of years ago for Christmas, it was a mini bottle of Baileys and a really nice glass.
I'm looking for ones with full size bottles ie 70cl bottles of alcohol. I have a few people that I want to buy for and I am looking ideally for a Jack Daniels one, a Malibu one, a Gordon's gin one and possibly a Baileys one. Had a look online but there seems to be some hefty postal charges which I can't really afford as I have so many to buy for.
If there are no full size ones around then I could get a mini one and think of something else to buy to make up the present.

Asda have some mini alcoholic gift sets at the moment, but not full size ones :-(

You don't say where you live but if you are near the yorkshire dales there is a shop in Ingleton which will make these up to your specification, as you say postal charges are prohibitive but if you are anywhere near there they might be good? Its called Dukes I think.

Quite difficult to find at this time of year!

Just a thought .... Have you thought of making your own?

You could get a nice gift box from one of the card shops, fill it with shredded tissue and put a bottle of jack daniels or whatever in it and then add something else like a nice glass / candle or chocolates etc. Then tie a nice ribbon and bow around it.. hey presto!

It would be more personal and it'd probably save you a fortune (or you could spend more on the contents!)! :j

Excellent idea lexuslass, think I will do that! Now I just need to find places that have the alcohol I want cheapest!

sorry, have to share this. When I read the title of your thread, for some reason it registered in my brain that you wanted advice as to what gift set to buy for a nice alcoholic in your life. :rotfl:
