Help after OR interview

Hi
Hubby has just had his OR interview and she told him that his tax code will be altered to 0 and we will have to set up a standing order to pay his tax to another company.
I have never heard of this before. Does anyone else know about this?
Thanks

Hi Goodvibes, and welcome.
This is a standard thing in bankruptcy, the OR will get all the tax for the rest of this financial year, or until your OH changes job. Your OH won't be out of pocket at all.
He will be contacted by a company who collect this on behalf of the OR. If they haven't contacted you by the time he receives his first salary with the NT tax code make sure you put the extra money to one side.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Yes, its standard practice which is why I specifically declared bankruptcy on 4th April (that was the last date which would prevent nil tax code)! I really didn't want to be responsible for that.
