Update!
A friend of mine just sold his car on www.neednewwheels.com after just one day.
Out of all the Used Cars Northern Ireland sites, it looks to be the best value.0 -
what about the best place to sell a catering trailer? I would resent paying autotrader, but cant think of how else to reach a wider area.
Has anyone tried gumtree? the London one looks great but ours looks quite tiny, does that mean people arnt using it or its so good everything sells so the ads are taken down?it takes more energy

I've posted this in another thread too but in case you didn't see it ...
"I sold my 1996 clio on http://www.usedcarsni.com/ with over £100k miles on it and 9 months MOT for £250 within half an hour of placing the ad (about 8 months ago) and received about 15 calls in 4 days, I so undervalued it! You'd be surprised how much you'd get for yours.
If I remember correctly, the ad cost £5.
There are currently corsas from 1998 on the site for around £600."0 -
Anyone selling a car beware of a phonecall from companies telling you they have buyers within a 50 mile radius wanting to buy your car. The last time we put a car in the Autotrader we were plagued with them, they want £99 to release details of buyers. The third time they rang, I said where are these buyers, he said within 50 miles, I said but where, he said eh in the North, I said the North of which county, Eh Wales!!!!!!!!!! The operators are either very rude when you question them or hang up. They change the name repeatedly. They even rang us one time we had a car in the Tyrone Courier! They must scan all the papers.
I ended up emailing Barnet trading standards about them as that was there company was based. But sure they will just shut up shop and start again.0 -
Oh and they completely try and sweeten you up at the start by telling you that you have undervalued your car! And they have a buyer who will pay more.0

I just wind them up, best way to deal with them parasites
Give them your wrong credit card number, address etc
Because they are wasting my time, I will waste theirs0 -
