Nationwide Building Society reserves the right to collect from you any fees you have opted to add to the loan if the mortgage does not complete or if you change products.

However some brokers don't use lenders own KFI - I had a client question my KFI ( stangely also with Nationwide) as it detailed initial interest- whereas a countrywide adviser had quoted same product without this

Hi, just a follow up on this from a month or so back, and it may hopefully be useful for anyone else in the same situation.

After going initially through the broker, I then went to the local Nationwide branch and started a new application. As the financial advisor in Nationwide put it ... because I've "changed channels" from the broker to Nationwide, I don't incur a 2nd arrangement fee, I just pay the one. If I had continued my application with the broker after deciding to change products, then I would have incurred the 2nd arrangement fee.

So hopefully this will help for anyone in the same boat.
