V quick question re Lexmark printer (PC World)

I need a new printer TODAY and Im wondering about the Lexmark one on offer in PC World. I would like an all-in-one model.

It is £39.99, so I just wanted to ask if, in general, are their cartridges more or less expensive than HP or Epson?

Could your rate the 3 of them in order, from cheapest to most expensive?

Thanks, Lally

Thanks, thats what I needed to know. I have an Epson just now, and had one before and they have both been very temperamental..... But there are a few good deals out there just now and similarly some with HP. Also, there is a Brother one in Argos. Arrggghh, so many to choose from and Im going out in about an hour to buy!

The quality of HP printers is the very best - but genuine cartridges are expensive. I have always used HP printers, with genuine cartridges, like I say expensive, but worth it. My personal advice; If you can, buy a HP.

Epsons are alright - nothing special in my eyes. I bought one of these when I thought of changing from a HP, but chucked it out because it was pants.

Lexmark - I won't even waste my time writing about them.

I hope this is of some help to you.

Iamnew, my Mum has an HP so I am leaning towards them, hers is fab to use.
And, if I stay clear of the Lexmark, it means that I dont have to give PC World any of my money!!

I saw an HP one reduced in Tesco yesterday, it was just under £70 and Im positive it was the 1610, if Im right then thats a good deal as Argos have it for £99.99

Will go there first, if Im wrong then off to Argos for one of 3 models

    Thank you!!!!!
