I had my bankruptcy hearing at court this morning, I was there at 9.30 and was back home before 11.00.
I am so happy, it has been a long time coming and I'm so relieved. I just have to worry about the OR now.
Overall it wasn't a stressful experience at all, I arrived at court for 9.30 and was directed where to go. I was seen by someone straight away who went through my forms etc. I then went in to see a judge, this took about 2mins, he just asked if I had seeked advice regarding bankruptcy and asked if I was aware of the implications... that was it really. I then had a phone call from the OR office, they asked a few straight forward simple questions and that was it.
I have been mostly a lurker on this forum but have posted a few times, just wanted to say thanks as it really did help and pushed me to do the right thing, I feel like I can finally relax a little and start getting things on track again.
Thanks
