    Hi Jen,

Why you worried about the meeting? Hope it goes okay. You'll feel better once its out of the way and not as bad as you feared.

Yeah I know I'm just being silly, its one of the performace dialogue things we have to do, I'm going to ask about going part time so I can go to college and do a course. The only thing is that means the year after I might be leaving to go to Uni so I'm not sure what they will say, my immediate manager is lovely and won't have a problem its the bigger company picture I'm worried about

Afternoon all, just back from meeting my future boss, she is lovely thankfully :j and the job sounds interesting, a bit more responsibility than in my last job but that's a good thing I suppose. I get to be bossy :D not sure how that will work seeing as my life is currently ruled by a 9 month old :o I go back on September 15th...

Well done on your medal Luc :T

I've just eaten a giant plate of chicken, pasta, sweetcorn, and mayo... and I am still hungry

Well you can only ask. if they say no then you will need to weigh up your options. Its probaby cheaper for them to keep you part time than to lose you completely and have to train someone new.

Isn't your job quite new? I thought you only passed probation at the start of the year?

Yeah i started here at the end of Septemeber but its not what I want to do forever and a day, it just pays the bills! Don't get me wrong I like doing it but I really want to get into teaching and I need some more qualifications before I can get on the degree course. So I'm hoping they will let me go part time.
