It's actually a week 13 scan because of work on 5th August. I'm getting 3 days off in lieu for working weekend/local holiday so I'll not have to rush around;)

Ooo not to long then! Are you going "public" after that then? My friend is due 3rd Aug, it seems like five minutes ago she had her 12 week scan!

Apparently posters on other boards call us on the DFW boards 'Huggers' only I got it wrong and posted 'huggies' which are of course nappies!

I saw Blondie when she last had a hit 'Maria' she was fab. She was touring with Squeeze who I was a bit disappointed with as it wasn't the original lead singer. Looking forward to the stranglers. Not seen them before.

Morning all!

Bloody gorgeous day here and i am stuck in this godforsaken office, with not even sun coming in the window nor nowt!

Am pee'd off as have been in this job a year now and was hoping for an annual bonus as intimated when i started, but it doesn't appear to be in my pay this month, (i pay the payroll so see the figures early).

I had so many plans... so will really need to focus on getting debt free off my own back. Was planning on using bonus to pay off maybe dotty p's, maybe next, dare i say it maybe even simply be.

I really thought i might get £1000 or so...

Am plucking up the courage to discuss with boss sometime soon, once i get over the upset of it. As i don't trust myself not to cry right now.

Anyhow, this is a well enough paid job, local to me and other than that kick in the teeth, i am happy enough really. So resisting the urge to look for another job, am concentrating on my studies (book keeping course) and will expand my admin services work that i do for some small business peeps i know.

One of my friends runs her own business, and was struggling with her accounts. i.e. she hasn't even done anything with them since April 07. Eeeeek! So i've offerred to help her as best i can. I work with sales and purchase ledger in my current job, and do the vat returns so although i'm not qualified i think i can help straighten her out.

Wish me luck!!! This could be my first book keeping homer!!!
