  • hello, I have no idea when it comes to kids shoes over sizing. I'm soon expecting my first baby but have seen some cute shoes on their website that could do for later on. But for instance how old roughly would a child be wearing a junior size 6 etc?

my guess is aged between 12-18 months...depending on your child...if she is a little bit then then may be a bit later...

My dd was a size 6 when 2 1/2yo, she's now a size 7 and 3 1/2. She's unfortunately taken after me in the small feet dept, although she is average height. My friend's dd is nearly 2yo and takes a size 5 now. Hope this helps.

My 22 month old wears a size 6 (in the Dora sandals, she's a 5 1/2 Clarks). I think it varies quite a bit between children and even between brands but I'd say at a guess you'd have to wait until your baby's at least 15 months.
  • My granddaughter is 4 next month and takes a 9. Her best friend at nursery was 4 six months ago and is so tiny and only in a shoe size 6 now!
