Ohmylordy, things are actually happening!!!!

Bought a gorgeous dress yesterday in the Monsoon sale at 70% off, so only £60! It's a size too big, got them to call all the stores in the North East and they didn't have my size - so I have 7 days to find out if it can be taken in a bit...

Been the to registry office this morning to give notice of marriage, so it's booked for the 21st August!! DF has to go back on Wednesday as he didn't have enough ID :rolleyes:

My tummy is churning with excitement and nerves I think - I'm still astounded that the guy I've lived with for almost 19 years and is totally wedding-phobic, actually wants to do this!!

Fab news - they can take my dress in for £25!! So I ran back to Monsoon and bought the matching girls dress in a mink colour for our daughter, reduced from £80 to £24 :j

Any suggestions for flowers would be appreciated - I'll have to pop into the florist this week and order a small bouquet for me and a posy for DD, and a few buttonholes and corsages.

Also managed to get 2 x packs of 8 lovely invitations reduced from a fiver to £2.50 in John Lewis - this is going to be the bargain wedding of the year I think!!
