CCJ advice needed :)

Hi,
Over the last six years my financial situation has gone from bad to alot better. After getting married I got all my affairs into order and now micro manage every penny that comes in and out of my account. But I have four CCJ's hanging round my neck, that have been satisfied a few years ago. My wife was recently reading through this forum and noticed a posting saying that when you satisfy a CCJ you can also negotiate the CCJ to be removed from your credit file. Unfortunetly I wish I knew this information when I negotiated early settlements for my outstanding amounts. A few details about my CCJ's are below, which are all satisfied.
No 1
Date of judgement 9th March 2001
Final Payment/Satisfied 10th November 2003
No 2
Date of judgement 1st November 2000
Final Payment/Satisfied 8th March 2002
No 3
Date of judgement 13th October 2000
Final Payment/Satisfied 13th February 2002
No 4
Date of judgement 19th April 2000
Final Payment/Satisfied 20th November 2003
Luckily I managed to buy a house and secure a mortgage just before the first CCJ hit my account.
Now here comes the million dollar question, does anyone know of a way I can get these removed from my credit file earlier than the six year rule. As we thought they all came off next year but only just realised there is one that will come off in 2007 not 2006.
I would love to be able to get a new mortgage and move house again. If there isnt a way, this is a lesson to all of us that no matter how good we are now with money our history will always haunt us.
Thanks for listening to my message.
Regards,
Chris

Hmmmm
I think you will struggle to get the CCJ's to be removed before the 6 years is up as it is there as a warning to other lenders that you have failed to manage your finances correctly.
If the CCJ was issued in error, or you paid it in full straight-away then you could have got it revoked, but the best thing you can do is write to the court asking for a Certificate of Satisfaction (there is a £10 charge for this)
You can download the court form from the Payplan site here:
http://www.payplan.com/debt-library/court-orders-certificate-of-satisfaction.php
Then you can get the CCJ marked as Satisfied on your credit file.
ps - not sure about Insolvency Helplines advice - they just act like a broker and sell all the enquiries they get onto other companies for a profit!!!
Good Luck0
