Loafer can i ask - is there anywhere we can run the email through before sending it to check it's spam score?
BTW some spammers charge $$$ for that service
you need to get your !!!!!! off the spamcop list though, before long it could propagate to other lists too.0 -

Martin: AOL users _may_ have issues receiving the emails as AOL servers now utilise SPF (Sender Policy Framework).
http://spf.pobox.com/ is the web site and your technical guys will know more about this.
All that's required is to add the relevant records within your DNS zone file(s).
I haven't actually checked though, so this may already be in place for you!0 -
Loafer: A required score of 5 seems a bit low though. I use a trigger score of 8 and all 300 odd messages a day are filtered as Junk fine.0

5 is the default
5 is what all the rules are trained for by perceptron/evolve
5 is the "magic number"
Oh and in case you missed it 5 is the default.
This is not me complaining, this is me informing the guys with a clue that they will have probalms with spamassassin users because of those backticks, and that they were in an RBL.
Most spamassassin users keep to the default settings anyway, or worse still use the sare rules too.0 -
