I am currently under a debit help service that have arranged for my creditors to accept min payments, all except lloyds who are killing me with charges. The plan im on is not working and needs to be reaccessed as all my benefits and WTC have changed due to a child turning 16. Im am considering bankruptcy but still not made a final decesion.
I am also in the process of reclaiming PPI on loan from lloyds, they have replied to my first letter with a conculsion that i was not missold PPI. I am going to send the 2nd template as advised on this site. But what happens if i am sucessful in getting my money back and i have gone bankrupt will i not get to see the money will it all go to any debts i owe ??? if thats the case i might as well throw in the towel and save myself all the stress, also what about bank charges, because of my debt situation lloyds have taken about £400 in bank charges from me in 3 months, if this worth claiming or will i not get to see this money either.
Sorry for the long thread, just so stressed out and nowhere to turn:(

pumpkinpatch,
Get a second opinion from CCCS about your debt position. If you don't own your own house then bankruptcy might be the best option, in which case there is no point persuing Lloyds for PPI or bank charges. Worth mentioning these as a contributory factor in your bankruptcy petition though.
Good luck
