My mothers fireplace is marble and has a few small chips on the front of the hearth
I know in london and glasgow there are people who can repair chips in marble.
Does anyone know of anywhere that does it in Northern Ireland?

Hi, I think PJ Smith Antique Fireplaces in Stewartstown ( http://www.pjsmithantiques.com/ ) could do this. I know that he can do other stuff like take marks in the marble out, etc. We have had a number of Slate Fireplaces 'done up' by them in the past and the quality is excellent. You should give them a shout.

If you're in the Belfast area try- http://www.alexander-the-grate.com. The shop is in Donegal Pass. If they can't do the repair themselves, they probably know someone who can.0
