How secure is moneysupermarket.com

I was interested in the 'view my accounts' service advertised on moneysupermarket.com's homepage.  It basically gives you your account details on one page and then advises you where you can save money by moving accounts/credit cards etc.

It requires you to give all of your online ID's and account details/passwords in order to get this info to display (obviously) and I was wondering how secure this was.

Can anyone advise?

I signed up for this a while ago. It works by downloading a little program onto your pc which stores your passwords, therefore your passwords don't need to be stored by moneysupermarket (which would be unsafe).

I think its safe, moneysupermarket is a well known website and I don't think that they would risk supplying this service if it was at all unsafe.

I mentioned it to a friend of mine who thought it sounded dodgy cos somenoe could hack into your computer and see your passwords, but i think this is going a bit over the top (and im sure the passwords would be encrypted).

Personally I trust it, but don't know enough about it all to guarantee that its safe.
