Is it possible to do this, so as to rack up points / air miles? The amount taken on the CC will be paid in full immediately as to not incur any interest charges.

Only if your mortgage lender accepts credit cards.
You will have to ask them, but I don't think it's likely.
If they do then make sure it's done as a payment and not a cash advance.0 -
This can be done, but for a fee...There are few websites you can do it through, the one i particularly used is chargesmart.com0
