We have a foreign mortgage and loans, but are staying in the UK for the time being and are continuing to rent our house. Its not a second home jolly,or speculative investment, but somewhere to live once soup spilling time comes around, with the ability to augment our pension by renting out part of the property.
Question is; is there any kind of tax relief that we can claim, as we are getting strapped for cash as all assesments are based on some notion that all you earn is "disposable" income, and makes no allowance for everything you earn being accounted for.
