I asked him to leave as he was an alcoholic and I realised that I could not do it anymore. He has now been sober for 5 months but at least if he relapses I wont have to pick up the pices again. Enjoying watching BB ( it is rubbish!!) but I still have to have the light on at night ( when DD is out ) as I still get scared on my own at night.

well done hun , took me and my mum years to leave my real dad (alcoholic and violent) but when we did,we never looked back!

sarah skint am I right in saying if you buy ts root thingys on clearance that with the mag voucher you get free ts long hair product free??

Just want to dbl check. I do have a few ts long hair products but at that price you could always do with a few more :D

This didn't work for me in my local Boots. They were reduced to £1 each - I took three up to the till with three serums but the till beeped each time. The SA was really nice about it though.

Has it been refused for anyone else, or have you all got lucky? I might try it again next week .....

    Hi

Can anyone tell me the best way to use up the £5 off vouchers in the sunshop for the smallest amount of cash? Do you have to spend £20 or £10 after BOGOF? Any help would be great.

You have to lay out the cash, but you can work it to get lots of points back.

It looks like you have to have a total of £20 after BOGOF offers. Then when you use the till spit, the total will be £15. You can go for a points bonanza and buy some No7 facial suncare if you have an ACM voucher for 500 points for that (and get a gwp), then buy enough Jemma Kid nail files at £2 each (for which you get 500 points for every two purchased) to bring your total up to £20. Depending on how you work it and what else you buy, you will get as much or more in points back on your card as what you spent.

    Hi Redtop

In the boots in Oxford Street, the big one with 4 floors they have the TD face wipes in the pink pack. Thye are £2.00. If you use the voucher from the back of the mag (200pts WYB any TD) you get the same amount of points back as you spend in cash.:T

I find the only thing that works for me (and I've tried lots, including soap and glory 'heel genius') is coconut oil. It comes solid from your local chemist (although boots don't sell it!) in a little plastic tub. Costs about £1 and last ages. Just get some of it onto a tissue and wipe on heels or wherever. You can use at night under socks, or during the day. It goes on clear and makes your feet look better straight away (unlike other white creams which get into cracks and make your heels look awful). Then, if you keep using it every day it really makes a difference.:D
Obviously you have to use it in conjunction with a scrubber file (or whatever they are called !).

    Heyy!
I think that Boots do sell coconut oil, its near the body creams like the coconut one etc and its in a glass jar with a metal lid not sure if its been discontinued or something now though last time i saw it, it was £1.99

Also CCS foot cream/balm is meant to be the best specific one apparently
