Just been down to blackburn to see a friend and popped into boots before heading home (as you do).

Anyway the big boots at the retail park opposite Asda had LOADS of makeup at half price. Most of it was 17 eyeshadows (single £1.45-£1.6, tri £2.5), collection 200 eyeshadows, revlon lipglosses (£6.5) and various other makeup items.

Infact 98% of the clearence shelf was reduced makeup (near the tills next to the magazines)

Didnt buy any but if anyone finds anything good please let us know :D

If you are worried about people seeing your profile on facebook, you can set your security settings so that only your friends or chosen people can see you. This is what I have done, so my family when doing a search for me, cannot find me.

Please don't consider this as good security. There have been a number of hacks that have let private photo's be read by people you don't expect to have access. I know it's from March this year so a little out of date but for the last one see

Just because they have plugged one hole it doesn't mean they got all the holes.

Only post images you'd be happy sent on a postcard to your mum and for the world and dog to see.

Hi everyone, I haven't posted much lately. I have tried in vain to catch up, but have had to give up as there are so many posts. I have had a few health problems. Also I have been away for a while. I went to Bonny Glasgow to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversery. Still can't believe I have been married for that long and it is my second marriage (But I was a child Bride the first time :rotfl: )

It is Nice to see posts from Dotchas and Jill Two very brave strong woman. Both going through very different , but exceptionally difficult periods of their lives with great dignity and strength. I have the greatest of respect for them, and I am proud to know them both. :T :T

Isn't the internet great for bringing together people who otherwise would never have known each other. Boots grabbit is like a mini community and what a great support board it is, (even putting money saving to one side) supporting each other with individual problems, which we all have at times. Lovely people.

    Calley
I'm a new poster on this thread but have been reading it for the past couple of weeks and have come to the conclusion that it's one of the friendliest on the site - love the "here comes the girls" idea on facebook. Never knew about glitches in Boots - but I do now :rotfl:
Remember seeing Calley's post on skin doctors so had a look at the clearance in my local here my list:
    Potent C+ nourising accelerator @ £5.99
Rapid Peel concentrated glycolic exfoliator @ £5.99 (sounds a bit scary though)
Total £8.98 (would love to know what the "starting price" on these were, they aren't on .com)
    And
Dr Lewinn's private formula Instant Beauty radiance booster @ £6.25 then for some reason, till took another £5.00 off this so £1.25. (Looked at this on .com too but couldn't find the full price either) Didn't notice this until I left the shop, so went back in and bought 4 more ;). Really nice SA who complimented me on my shop.
Feeling kinda chuffed.... if somewhat skint.
Just to say again you girls are Brill... I am not worthy icon7.gif
