She has the receipt but says she bought it 21 May, so more than 28 days ago.0 -

I'd try a different store. Boots does say they don't accept cosmetics back, but if they are in sealed packages you may get an SA who will take them. I have returned body scrubs and body butters that were unused but in packages that didn't come with a seal. You could open the body butters and see they had not been used, though I don't think the SAs even checked that. But at one store they refused to take the body scrub (which was unused but in a tube, so I guess you couldn't tell for sure it was unused) so I took it to another Boots and it was accepted no problem.0 -

I went into town today to take back my smashed up rainbow pallette, SA at main till insisted I do it at the No7 counter for some reason.
Anyway while I was there I noticed a sign on the counter for a "Beauty evening" on the 20th August 6.30-8.30pm. Can't remember all the details but it involved No7 + most of the premium brands (Estee Lauder etc). You have to book a place & pay £5 booking fee, which is discounted off any purchases you make on the night. And you get beauty treatments, drinks and a goody bag in return!
I think I'll be too big to fit through the door by then but thought it might be good for the rest of the Oxford posse.I wonder if other stores will be doing it as well?
