If you are considering training, have you thought of being a nurse? Universites normally have creche's which are subsidised. You would get a bursary for training to be a nurse, plus they pay income for dependants on a means tested basis. The University may also be able to identify where you could get grant aid. The Princes Trust provide funds to young people who want to train. If you are aged 30 and under you may fall into this bracket.
My OH trained as a nurse and we got the bursary. I earnt too much to get anything else, but another Uni student who's child was at the same childminder as mine, got all her childcare paid for through the University. Not sure how this worked when she owned her own business and she drove a two seater, brand new sports car! She even won an award for top business women of the year. :rotfl: :rotfl:I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
Training to be a nurse - I think you might not have to pay Council Tax as you will be a student. I loved the 25% off for my hubby while he was training.
Not sure if you can get 100% off for having only a student in the house.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
