Hello to All and especially all in Birmingham!

We are visting Brirmingham for 3 days from Monday, have already exchanged my Clubcard Vouchers for Drayton Manor tickets, so that will keep the kids happy, however in the ture spirit on moneysaving, i wondered if there are any bargain treaures/must visit bargain shops in Birmingham for clothes, ladies fashion and also adults sports wear?

I would be grateful for any tips at all, whether its moneysaving on clothes shopping or indeed food, ooooh and also please fell free to recommend your favourite Chippy and Curry House!

TIA, Funky, x

    I've been Money Tipped!
Not a citizen of Brum, but know you MUST have a balti in birmingham-they're the best. If you're a fan of chinese food, then visit china town and stock up on all the chinese staples in their supermarkets.. The jewellery quarter has lots of fab little shops that sell lovely stuff at a good price.

    Avoid sealife-big waste of money.

Bull ring has all the highstreet shops and lots more boutique ones.

Next clearance shop on the way out of city centre, towards childrens hospital.

Depending on how far the clubcard vouchers can stretch and whether they're named or not, and if budget allows, I'd go to cadbury world with clubcard and get some BOGOF drayton manor tickets from the kelloggs zoo keeper promo.

A must visit is the rag market just outside the bullring where there are plenty of bargains to be had if you are prepared to look.

A visit to the Emirates beach is a great idea. A lovely touch in the middle of a busy city centre

Agree with bylromarha, the jewellery quarter is a good visit
