Hi all,
Well got my ipa today, £108 a month, now when i work out how much tax i would have paid on the normal tax code it works out more than the ipa! so i am in theory better off with the NT code. does this also mean my NI is stopped or do i still pay that as well?

Yes bat is right. There is an IPA based on your surplus income and then a NT IPA. What exactly does the letter say,as usually(but not always)you get a break down of i&e and a form to sign with the income IPA.dFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
