Have to be at court for 9.45. Everything is sorted and ready to go, but im really starting to get a bit nervy about it now.
Im sure all will be ok, just really not looking forward to it. Wish there was someone to go with me too, but hubby will be at home with our small baby.
Having a bit of a sad time about it all. _pale_

Good luck for Monday.

I was pretty stressed and depressed about having to do it ages back. That's got to be natural really. Having got into the situation that means you have to do it takes a bit of getting over, but if it was the right thing then trust me it does get better.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

You'll be fine I am sure. Have a look through the last couple of pages there has been a few people who have posted theit experiances of their day in court and you will see how straight forward it is.
Just make sure you have something to read, a drink and snack as well as 3 copies of your petition and your fees.
All the best and sending you some cyber (((hugs)))BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Thanks both. Ive been having a nose through others experiences, and when I made my appt they said the judge fits BR cases around others but latest I would be in there was 1pm as thats when they break for lunch.
Im also starting to panic about my forms, only mistake ive spotted so far is that ive missed my middle name off, but have put it in on my maiden name.
Also, we got a thing today saying we owe the tax credits people £700 for last year so they will be paying us less, more like £38 pw rather than the £50 I put on the form.
I would reprint, but we dont have a printer, and I used my friends who went on holiday yestderday. These two things shouldnt cause me big problems should they?

You can make the changes by hand if you have room and initial them in front of the clerk to confirm them. The clerks are used to having to make a few corrections as they rarely get forms presented to them that are 100% correct. Nothing to panic about.

They overpaid me last year too and hadn't started taking any overpayment when I went BR last Wednesday so my overpayment is being taken into account in my bankruptcy - could this be the same for you too?Rainbow_Butterfly wrote: »Thanks both. Not sure, im not sure the tax credits people really have any idea what they are on about most of the time. We will be getting £38pw rather than £50, but it also says something about that this isnt the final award for 07/08 and they will contact us AGAIN when they have decided. I think I will leave the figure as £50 on my forms, and then discuss it with the OR later on once they have made their minds up about it. x0
