I included my mobile contract and landline in my br, iam on payg now and i only needed a landline for internet access so i got a mobile dongle thingy.
My landline has not been cut off yet (iam behind on last payment) and my mobile contract is now cut off (because i couldnt afford the bill)
Hoping they both get included in my br, two more things less to bother about!

Did you owe alot of money to your landline company as if not you may have been better off trying to keep that like i did. As because they now no you are BR i doubt you will find it easy to be re-connected to them and you will not pass credit checks with the others. Mobiles are the same really i kept mine so that i could upgrade with little chance of them then credit checking me again but if your out of contract you may find that you have to stay with PAYG.

Are you behind in the payments you should make on it?

Can you afford to pay (and continue paying) it?

Well if you can continue to pay after this friday i would say keep it but if not i cant see any reason why your son could not get the line in his name and on his account.
