I want a table saw (I think!)

Not sure what the difference is between a site saw and a table saw. They seem to do the same thing?
Anyway, I think I'm after a table saw but I need advice. Can anyone offer an opinion?
Looking for a decent make around £100/£200 ish. I'm a firm believer in 'you get what you pay for', so I'm not interested in the B&Q £50 cheapos that are on the go.
Anything in particular I should be looking for? Any make/model better than another?
It's for DIY use so I wont need a top range professional jobby, just something accurate and decent quality.
Pointers on which to get or where to get would be helpful? TIA.
