Oh well - back to tracking down 8-legged hairy things E-lass ...

... *sofa ... I've hidden the last of the cooking sherry for you, behind the ... sofa* :shhh: ;)

Is that the sofa we had trouble getting through the door?

psst Queenie as "they" arrive on 31 October I need to make spider jellies

    Any clues??

Okay - back on topic (I think) ...

Traditionally, this is how we do it -

make up a green jelly (lime flavour). Once it is set, give it a stir so it looks messy and gloopy.

Add some jelly spiders (Tesco do some gooey filled one's). If you can't get spiders, the bugs will do (at a pinch).

    HTH :D

Oh and the other thing you may want to make is Bats Blood & Droppings Punch - Ribena with currants in ... the currants represent bats droppings.

    Wow Queenie,

Your halloween traditions sound very similar to ours..........only difference is we have red grape schloer (without the bats droppings) and call it witches blood.

The idea of bats droppings woud appeal to my five year old though....E, do you have bats in Ediinburgh?
